NB: The mattress frame is metal and comes in one big piece. It is 138cm wide and 188 cm long. It is essential that you are sure you can get this frame (the size of a double mattress) into the home and to the intended room before ordering. 

The Space Up 2 Travel double bed from Parisot is an ingeniously designed double bed that maximises storage in and around itself. Ideal for smaller bedrooms or where available floorspace is otherwise limited, it's cleverly designed to add style and functionality to any bedroom. It offers a blend of practicality and elegance whilst providing plenty of storage space for an organised sleeping environment.

There's a full length shelf on the left side of the bed, plus elevated shelf at the headboard end to keep nighttime essentials close to hand. There's a storage drawer below, alongside another wide shelf for added storage.

The clever bit is the flip-up bed. Just open the door at the bottom of the bed, light-up the mattress base, and you have access to plenty of additional storage discretely stored below. There's two full length shelves on each side - that's 4M of storage (41cm deep) in total! Underneath on the right had side is a large drawer, with open storage compartments either side of the drawer. The opposite side has a further two open storage compartments, each 1M long (22cm deep).  Of course, there's plenty of floor space available below the bed too.
